Learning Difficulties and Disabilities

If your teenager has learning difficulties or disabilities we can help you.  We give information, advice, guidance and support for young people with learning difficulties or disabilities up to age 25.  If you want to talk with a choices adviser about your teenager's needs please call us on Freephone 0800 73 13 2 19 (choose option 1).

• Transition planning

  In year 9, young people start to plan their future. Your teenager's school may be using the Learning for Living and Work Framework.  Click here to find out more about it.

• Section 139 assessments

  In their final year at school young people's goals and needs are assessed. A report is written to help them move on.
