Pop star to drum up interest at music festival

A NATIONAL drum festival will visit Northampton as part of its 10th anniversary tour.

Drumfest 2008 will feature performances from Black Eyed Peas drummer, Keith Harris, and Russ Miller, who has worked with singer Nelly Furtado.

The event will take place at the Park Inn, Silver Street, Northampton, on July 17 with doors opening at 6pm for a 7pm start.

Tickets cost £10 for adults, £12 on the door and £5 for children under 12 and are available from Professional Music Technology in Bridge Street, Northampton.
