New board for young people

A new board which will represent the views of young people has been created by the Children and Young People's Partnership.

The partnership is keen for more young people across the county to get involved in the decisions which affect them. To start the process, it is asking young people to vote on who they think should have seats on the board. A consultation is up and running on the Northamptonshire County Council's website, where young people can answer a questionnaire.

It is hoped that young people from all ages, backgrounds and areas of the county will be involved on the board.
