Young people invited to shape Kettering's town centre

YOUNG people living in Kettering are being asked for their views on the town centre's regeneration.

The new scheme, named Kettering Futures, is well under way with suggestions from local residents and business owners including a shuttle bus, more youth facilities and better shops.

Now the project's organisers, Savills Urban Designs, are encouraging local students to add their views to the comments section of the project website at www.ketteringfutures.co.uk

The leader of Kettering Council, Jim Hakewell, said: "This is an opportunity for young people to have their say on how they would like to see their town grow and prosper in the future."
