Towcester Footballers win Connexions Shield

As part of the FA's Junior Football Organiser's course and Coaching for Life, young people had to organise a football tournament.
The event took place on a windy and cold Saturday morning, with three teams taking place.
A team from Rushden, Towcester and Northampton took place with Towcester winning. Runners up received medals with the winners also receiving medals and a shield. An extra prize was free tickets to the Crewe game at Northampton Town FC the game was a 0-0 draw.
