Writing a CV |
PlanningIf you don't have access to your own computer, use a friend's, school's, college's or try your local library. You need to record the dates you were at school or college. Write down all your qualifications and any periods of work and see whether your recent or previous employer will give you a reference. If you are applying for your first job, it is useful to try and get a personal reference from a teacher, for example. Firstly, jot down details about the job you are applying for so that you can tailor your CV to match their requirement. If you are a disabled young person, you need to decide if you are going to disclose your disability. You are only obliged to disclose your disability by law if it may cause health and safety issues for you or others.
