At least 28% of students in Further and Higher Education have part-time jobs to supplement their income and a well-chosen job can provide excellent experience. You may choose to complete work in the day (when you are not in college or university), evening or at the weekend, but you need to ensure you have enough time for your studies. It is worth noting that employers look at any employment as an asset and most companies look to employ people with previous communication, motivation, problem solving, planning, organisational and IT skills.
