Work Based Learning
While you are in work based learning the majority of time would be spent
in the workplace with some time spent at either a college or training
centre. Work Based Learning would usually involve you taking a recognised
training course such as a Foundation or Advanced Modern Apprenticeship.
With an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship you would work towards an NVQ level
3+ qualification. With a Foundation Modern Apprenticeship this would be
an NVQ level 2. It's possible to take an Apprenticeship in a wide variety
of job areas.
Some young people may need extra help and support to move
on to work or training. Joining e2e (Entry
to Employment) is a way in which you can receive this help and support.
