What is Connexions?
Connexions Northamptonshire is a youth support service that gives advice, guidance and support to young people aged 13-19 (and in some cases up to 25).How can Connexions help you?
If you're aged between 13 and 19, then Connexions is here to support you. Whatever is happening in your life Connexions can help you to sort it out.Your Connexions Personal Adviser (PA for short) is a qualified person who will get to know you and offer the information and guidance that is best for you. They will help you make positive choices about your future. PAs can give you help and information on education, careers, training and employment. They can also help with your personal development and life issues like bullying, relationships and money.
How does Connexions Work?
We are part of the Northamptonshire Children and Young People's Partnership, which means we work closely with other organisations to ensure you get all the advice and support you need. The Children and Young People's Partnership has a plan that aims to ensure you will:- be healthy;
- stay safe;
- enjoy and achieve;
- make a positive contribution; and
- achieve economic well-being.

How do I contact Connexions?
If you are at school or college, you may be able to see a Connexions Personal Adviser there. Ask your tutor about drop-in times. If not then call into your local Connexions Access Point. You can find out more about them including a map and opening times.PA's also work in a variety of places in the community. Connexions Access Points display local job vacancies, they also have a range of computer software to help you to search for career ideas and create a CV. You will also find lots of other information on careers and lifestyle issues.
